We've got a guest!! Shannon McCormick, best known in the anime world for his excellent dubbing of Kuroudo Akabane (Get Backers), will be joining us next year for the convention!

Also updated on the site is the volunteers section. If you have any interest in volunteering as staff, please head over to the Volunteers section right now to get started!

We've updated the Vendors section so any interested Dealers or Artists should check this section out. Also, we've added a few more in-progress events and panels to the Events section of the site.

BANNERS

As you can see from the index page and the two sites, our theme this year is Shoujo vs. Shonen! If you have a cool idea for a banner, whether it resembles the one on the index page or your own personal design, make it and send it to us at jampcon@jampcon.net!

We'd love to get a bunch to throw up on the site here for everyone to see and enjoy. Be sure to put your name somewhere on the banner so that everyone knows who made it!

We've got a few updates for you! First, the Events section has had a few updates. If you are interested in participating in any way for any of the events, let us know through email.

Secondly, we now have pre-registration up! Tickets are $20 flat which you can by through a money order and mail-in only. We no longer take checks, just to eliminate the possibility of bounced checks which will help all of us in the long-run.

JAMPcon is also trying to organize an anime party or two to help break up the long wait for next year's convention. In addition, we will start posting meeting times and dates ASAP so that anyone who is wanting to volunteer can know ahead of time.

Our big to-do this year is having more staff and being more organized. We have listened to the criticism and now we are ready to take the steps of fixing the few problems we had.

Hello! First, as you have noticed, we've gotten the new site up!

We have secured a date and location now so it's time to let the real planning of the convention commence! Another project we are working on to help break up the time between now and the actual convention is having an anime party here in Chattanooga. We'll get back to you soon with updates on that!

Local news: The Chattanooga Downtown Library will be having a showing of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children this Satuday, April 5th.

Yes, Shoujo vs. Shonen is our theme for this year! We plan to have a JAMPcon 2009 logo competition once we set some dates in stone so keep our theme in mind. If you'd like to make your own version of the shoujo/shonen theme, please do and send them in to us!

This year, all the main events will center around the popular animes we know as shonen and shoujo. We're still very early in planning but this is what we're going for this year round! Let us know what you think by stopping on the forums or emailing us at jampcon@jampcon.net.

The Prez is looking for Ouran and Death Note cosplayers that would like to help out for the ball. If you're one, please contact her at andrea-morgan@jampcon.net. See you around!
